The Naked Presenter: Delivering Powerful Presentations With or Without Slides by Garr Reynolds
After introducing his Presentation Zen method and concentrating on producing better slides in his previous books, The Naked Presenter now takes a step back. It focuses on the art of presenting itself, i.e. the presenter and his interaction with the audience.
As the subtitle suggests, this book is useful whether you're using slides or not. If the Presentation Zen and Presentation Zen Design books aimed at making better slides, this book aims at making you a better presenter. "Better" meaning a lot of things here, including to tailor your presentation for your audience (i.e. the audience's needs come first).
For "techies" like myself, once you've got your head around the ideas behind the Presentation Zen concept, improving your performance as a presenter is the next logical step. This book will help you towards that goal. I'm sure I will be coming back to it a lot.
