Rummaging around in my "Pictures" folder, I found this photo today:

Last known photo of my trusty old iBook, nicknamed "amalthea". Photo taken by Daniel Schmid at the Webmontag in Stuttgart on March 1, 2010 - 7 weeks before I lost it ...

And then I just came across this sentence on Wikipedia:

The precise dimensions of Himalia are still not certain and it may be marginally larger or smaller in mean radius than Amalthea

"Himalia" being the name that I gave to my new iPad, which is intended to fill the gap left by "amalthea". I swear I didn't read that article before deciding on the name. Coincidences ...
