Hi. I have a question about presenter display

In the Keyword 1.3 for iPad help you can read "Attach a video adapter cable to your iPad. The presenter display is activated even if the cable isn’t attached to an external monitor or projector, so that you can set it up in advance of your presentation."

I attach the iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter but nothing happens. I don't understand.

Thank you

Haven't tried it myself, but I've read somewhere else that you actually need to attach a VGA cable to the adapter to make this work. Just plugging in the adapter isn't enough (that at least I can confirm).

I have tried the presenter display for Keynote 1.3.2 on an iPad 1st generation, and it works. You need to plug in the Apple VGA Adapter (from Apple's website: "The Apple VGA Adapter connects to your iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPod touch (4th generation)") AND connect a monitor or projector (just plugging in a loose VGA cable does not work). The projector does not have to be switched on, however.
